correcting myself...discharge was over a year ago (CH 7)...

when USAA was called, was told denial to use online-services and automated-phone services was due to the loss they took in the bankruptcy, and that they had just been notified (huh?).

at no time in the past year+ was there a problem with the account nor limiting access to online-services, automated-phone system. in fact, I opened an account in another bank (but closed it about 6 mo ago) to use after filing, expecting USAA to freeze the account or some such (they never did anything).

my truck loan is through USAA, was not reaffirmed, never missed a payment--I'm still paying on it of course.

the partial-denial of services is what is confusing...I was wondering if there was some logical explanation. (so far, no logic coming from speaking with a customer service rep.)
